Our Services

It is our breadth of experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal problems that make us your partner in health.

Musculoskeletal Dysfunction: We treat joint pain (with the exception of TMJ). Whether the pain and/or dysfunctions are from arthritis, posture, bad body mechanics, congenital or acquired scoliosis, acquired trunk deviations from bulging discs, or injury.

Sports Injuries: We treat traumatic injuries which result in sprains, strains, fractures, avulsions and muscle tears, groin injuries.

Pre-Sport Training: We evaluate adolescents and teens for proper form, jump, and landing techniques; preparation and neuromuscular assessment and pre-season training for soccer, skiing, pitching, tennis and most overhead sports; Exercise intervention to prepare them for their sport BEFORE injury.

Pre and Post-Surgical Assessment and Treatment: We evaluate and work with patients before and after surgery, becoming an essential part of safe and effective recovery. We partner with your team of health care professionals. We help evaluate the benefits and risks of surgery and become a collaborative part of surgical success, helping to avoid the all too common outcome of reinjury.

Balance and Movement: Taking shorter steps? Feeling less sure of yourself when you’re walking? Using less arm swing? Then you are in the right place. We focus on strength, balance, and proprioception (knowing where you are in space) to prevent falls. We offer a balance and movement class every Wednesday via Zoom. Take advantage of a free trial class to see if it is right for you.

Core & Flexible Spine : Join a physical therapist led class teaching strategies for deep core activation and spinal mobility.

Sometimes you don’t realize your own strength until you come face to face with weakness

Insurance and Cost

In-Network

We are currently in network with Medicare plans that are not Medicare Advantage. All other insurance plans are considered Out-of-Network as of Jan 1 2026.

Note : Medicare plans limit patients to approximately 12-14 visits per year for medically necessary physical therapy. If you require more than 12 visits of physical therapy per year, in spite of what your referral says, they may deny care up to two years after the fact. We are very judicious with your sessions to prevent this, and will discuss this with you in person.

Workers’ Compensation

We are proudly partnered with the University of California system. We do not accept workers compensation cases outside of the UC system.

Cost Per Visit
The per-visit cost of an initial evaluation is $250, and follow up visits are $200.

Discounted Package Rates

*Valid for 1 year from purchase, non-transferrable.
6 visits for $1110 (including initial evaluation)
10 visits for $1750 (including initial evaluation)
16 visits for $2720 (including initial evaluation)
20 visits for $3300 (including initial evaluation)

What does “Out-of-Network” mean?

When a clinic is out of network, it means we don’t have a contracted rate with your insurance plan. So, instead of your insurance paying us directly at an in-network rate, you pay us directly for your visit.

The important part: You can still use your insurance benefits. Many plans reimburse patients for out-of-network physical therapy at a set rate or percentage.

Because we’re a specialized, one-on-one orthopedic manual physical therapy practice (no aides, no group care), many of our patients choose to see us out of network for the level of attention and expertise they want—then use their out-of-network benefits for reimbursement.

What we provide:

  • A superbill (detailed receipt) you can submit for reimbursement

  • The visit details insurers typically require (dates of service, diagnosis codes, procedure codes, provider info)

What you do:

  • Submit the superbill to your insurance plan

  • Receive reimbursement directly from your insurer (timing varies by plan)

If you have insurance and want to use your out-of-network benefits, you’re welcome here.
Call us and we’ll help you understand what to ask your plan and what documentation you’ll receive—so you can make a confident decision about care.

How Insurance Reimbursement Works

Here’s the typical flow:

  1. Schedule and come in for your visit.

  2. You pay us directly at the time of service.

  3. We provide the documentation you need (a detailed receipt/superbill).

  4. You submit the superbill to your insurance company (online, app, fax, or mail—whatever your plan uses).

  5. Your insurance reimburses you according to your out-of-network physical therapy benefits.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance

If you want to estimate your reimbursement before your first visit, ask your insurance plan:

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for physical therapy/rehabilitation?

  • What is my out-of-network deductible, and have I met any of it?

  • What is my reimbursement rate (percentage or allowed amount) for outpatient PT?

  • Is there a visit limit or authorization requirement for out-of-network PT?

  • Do I need a referral/prescription?

We know what it feels like to be injured and in pain and we take that empathy into every patient we treat. We welcome your questions. Call or email directly to reach our Client Services team or make an appointment for an evaluation with our licensed Therapists using our Patient Scheduling form.

We look forward to meeting you.
